Control:
Leavenworth County Survey Department is currently working on a countywide control network. Click here to see a map of available control sheets. The National Geodetic Survey website also contains datasheets that are available for print.
Leavenworth County Control Network is a system of static GPS observations, adjusted by a least-squares adjustment routine, and passing the Chi Square Test at the 95% Confidence Level when allowing a maximum of 0.02’ centering error and a maximum of 0.02’ error in determining the height of the antenna above the control monument. LVCO is based on the Kansas SPCS North Zone 1501 (U.S. Survey Feet), NAVD88, and Geoid03.
Corner Reports:
The Survey Department has copies of Corner Reference Reports available. Click here to see a map. Our department will update the map periodically, but new reports are submitted frequently. The Kansas State Historical Society has Corner Reference Reports on file at their office. You may want to check out their website to see what they have available.
