Flatbed Blueprint Table

This is a Flatbed Vacuum Blueprint Burning Table/Light Table Combination made by Reprographics Corporation Model #4254 (which means it can make up to 42" x 54" blueprint copies).

Can also be used as a simple light table.

It vacuums two or more Mylar's together and burns the image on diazole blueprint paper to make a blue print copy. This process keeps the Mylar's from slipping on each other like a drum roll machine would do so the line work is dimensionally stable across the copy. It only burns an image; it does NOT develop the paper. We use a separate ammonia machine for that. It is approximately 25 years old. We bought it used in 1997. It is in working order. Vacuum pump only vacuums to about 5 lbs. of suction but still makes clear copies. All the black light bulbs are good. Some fluorescent bulbs are out but they are the $1.59 bulbs you can buy at any hardware store.

It measures approximately 5' long x 5' wide x 3' tall. It weighs about 200 lbs. Can be seen at the Leavenworth County GIS Office, 300 Walnut ste 212, Leavenworth, Ks 66048. Call Jeff at 913-684-0443 with any questions.
