The Juvenile Corrections Advisory Board has recently announced The FY09 prevention strategy, to be implemented July 1 2008 through June 30 2009. Application deadline was January 15 2007. JD1 has been focusing resources toward the following youth factors that were either included in the district’s original comprehensive strategic plan or have since been added.

Risk factors are harmful characteristics, attitudes, or behaviors within youth environments (domains) that we seek to reduce in order to prevent juvenile delinquency:
